Acupuncture is a Traditional Chinese Medicine that involves inserting sterile needles into specific points of the body to promote healing and balance. Julie blends the Eastern energetic acupuncture with western orthopaedic style acupuncture to keep clients active and enjoying all the East Kootenays has to offer! Other modalities within the TCM scope include fire cupping, guasha, tuina, electro-acupuncture and lifestyle recommendations. Julie operates out of her home, creating a calming, inviting space where clients can alleviate their aches and pains.

I have seen and experienced how rewarding an active lifestyle can be, alongside the challenges that injuries can impose on both physical and mental well-being—I became intrigued by acupuncture during my time at a physiotherapy clinic. The impact of acupuncture on conditions ranging from back pain to digestive issues and emotional health captivated me.

I am passionate about how the human body works and the strength it provides us. As an Acupuncturist I have more tools than just needles, I use fire cupping, guasha, tuina, electro-acupuncture and lifestyle recommendations to get you back to the activities you love!

I earned my Diploma of Acupuncture from Pacific Rim College in Victoria, BC, in 2019, and hold a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Alberta since 2015.
